British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) announced it is opening another community gaming center – Chances Salmon Arm – in the next few days.
The new gaming center which BCLC built in collaboration with Berezen Management and the Adams Lake Indian Band of British Columbia would be officially opened comes July 20, 2015.
Chances Salmon Arm, a 22,000 sq ft gaming facility is located at 384 Trans Canada Hwy on Adams Lake Indian Band of British Columbia. It is one of the few gaming facilities that would be built on the India owned land.
By accepting to host a gaming facility on their land the Adams Lake Indian Band will be benefited a lot. First, some of the employment opportunity that would be created at the Gaming center would be occupy the the Adams Lake India Band people and second, ten percent (10%) of the revenue accrued from the gaming facility by the province will go to the Indian band and this means an improvement in their social and economy situation.
Some of the facilities at the newly built Chances Salmon Arm are 99 slot machines, one electronic blackjack machine, 124 electronic and 24 paper bingo seats on 9000 sq ft gaming floor.
Additional amenities around the gaming property are meeting space for conferences and different events and banquets.
