29.4.2015. The hand of the law has caught up with Harrah’s Chester Downs and Marina, LLC operator of Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack in Daleware County for two separate offences.
First: Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack failed to provide a list of all it’s employees who conduct business on behalf of the facilities with the junket representative and submit required reports of operations of gaming junket at it facility. In addition to this Harrah’s also failed to submit for approval an ammendment which it made to it’ s internal control to reflect the usage of gaming junkets. By law junket representative must be licensed by the Gaming Control Board.
Second: Harrah’s Philadelphia was also guilty of paying an unregistered gaming services provider during 2014.
To these two count charges, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board now fined Harrah’s Chester Downs and Marina the sum of $55,000: $50,000 for the first charge and the sum of $5,000 for the second charge.
