Chester Downs and Marina LLC, the operator of Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack was fined by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board for allowing a compromised deck of card to be used at blackjack table.
To this offence, the Delaware county base gaming establishment was handed the fine of $15,000 on the 30.3.2016
The fine was subject to the approval of Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board base on the consent agreement between PGCB Office of Enforcement and Chester Downs and Marina LLC.
This will be the third time within a year Chester Downs and Marina LLC will so be fined for different gaming offences. The most recent was in November 2015 when the they were fined the total sum of $36,500 for two separate offences. One, for failure to properly address automatic shuffer error light and failing to count the card of a deck in used at a blackjack table following the jam of the shuffer and two for allowing an employee to work at the casino, even though without a proper gaming license.
