InBet Gaming Inc. was yesterday -June 27 – hit with a fine of $55,744.50 for a business misconduct related offences.
The fine which was handed them by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) was as a result of their liaise with American Gaming System (AGS) to circumvent some of the Pennsylvania gaming laws.
InBet Gaming, a certified gaming related service provider to casinos in Pennsylvania made a business agreement which allow AGS to own some of it’s intellectual properties rights to games being operated in Pennsylvania Casinos thereby led to doing business with Pennsylvania located casinos and thereafter yields a proceed to AGS who at the time has no legal right to do so.
A publication from Pennsylvania Gaming control Board stated that all the deals between the two companies were without the gaming authority notification or approval.
To this offences the Gaming Authority deem it fit according to the law of the land to fine InBet Gaming the sum of $55,744,50 after a negotiated consent agreement had been reached.
