World Lottery Association (WLA), an international body that advance the interest of state-authorized lotteries has awarded the prestigious WLA Responsible Gaming Framework Certification for associate members to Intralot S.A for it global lottery operation and best practices.
The official standard with which the certification is awarded base on the outcome of the 2012 Intralot participated Responsible Gaming pilot program, and since the standard had been put down Intralot S.A have successfully scales the certification processes which was conducted by an independent WLA approved assessor, TUV Nord. TUV Nord strictly assessed Intralot products, services and best practices transferred to lottery customers before they approved Intralot for the award.
The new responsible gaming (RG) certification offers a standard for benchmark and demonstrates INTRALOT’s due diligence and social responsibility across its activities. The company has formed a Responsible Gaming Committee that designs and implements the Group’s RG Strategy, taking sustainability management to a new, sector-specific level as the company sets annual targets to maintain compliance with the standard. The framework areas include research, employee program, product and service development, remote gaming environment, advertising and marketing communications, client awareness, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
Since its establishment INTRALOT has been devoted to Responsible Gaming (RG) policies and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices for the protection of vulnerable groups, integrity and the prevention of fraud and has taken a pivotal role in the
development and promotion of the WLA responsible gaming policies and programs throughout the world.
