In partnership of MGM Resort International, a Las Vegas base non governmental and non profitable organization, Habitat for Humanity will serve it’s 100th family partner with home dedication on May 29th, 2015.
The achievement which was made possible by the support of MGM Resort and the company employees will sees one lucky family receiving keys to their newly constructed three bedroom flat at Clark County, Las Vegas.
While commenting and congratulating Joanne and her family the owner of the new house, Mr. Phyllis A. James, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer of MGM Resorts International, said “MGM Resorts is extremely proud to be a part of this momentous occasion in helping to instill a sense of great pride for Joanne and her family, as they embark on their newpath of homeownership. Affordable housing for individuals and families is one of the most basic yet most pressing needs in our nation, and it is an honor to work with Habitat Las Vegas to serve families in our local community in this vital way.
The statement from MGM International website stated that this is the seventh project which company would sponsored.
Also in his address Mr. Meg Delor, Executive Director of Habitat Las Vegas said, “This is a tremendous milestone as we serve our 100th Habitat partner family in Clark County. Through our homeownership program, Joanne will be able to provide stability and financial security for her and her family.” Further he stated that “With the continued support and generosity from our sponsors, volunteers, board of directors and staff, we are helping to significantly improve the lives of individuals within our
