Sand Benthworks Gaming Was Fined $85,000 For Allowing Underage Gambling

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has on Wednesday 11th, 2014 imposed a fine of $85,000 against Sand Benthworks Gaming LLC, the owner and the operator of Sand Casino Bethlehem, Northampton county for violating State Pennsylvania gaming rule which do not permit anybody under the age of 21 years to access gaming facilities or gamble.

The incident to which this casino was fined occurred on six separate occasions last year between the month of June 2013 and January 2014.

The statement made available by the PGCB on their official website stated that Sand Casino, Bethlehem, allowed a 17 years old girls access to the gaming hall and  bet on a game table on June 3, 2013.

Another incident also occurred when a 20 years old male was allowed into the gaming hall, gamble on the slot machine and game table. So also was the case of a 20 years old female who attended a banquet but was allow access to gaming room.

In another situation on October  14, 2013 a 20 year old male was allowed into the gaming room to gamble.  Such other incidents occurred on December 29, 2013 and January 24 2014.

It was gathered that the authority of the Sand Benthworks Gaming, LLC reported the incident.
